Depending on the package, travel health insurance allows reimbursement of costs incurred during the provision of emergency medical services or assistance to the insured as a result of an accident or illness during a temporary stay abroad.

Travel health insurance can be individual, family or group insurance.

If an accident, i.e., an insured event occurs, the insured person is obliged to immediately contact the assistance centre (underlined by the insurer) and report the information from his/her policy, as well as the name of the health institution where he/she was admitted. In the event that hospital treatment is necessary, the insured person is obliged to present his/her travel health insurance policy upon admission to the hospital.
