Any unforeseen situation that could not be planned and that arose unexpectedly and independently of the will of the insured is considered an accident. Such situations include temporary incapacity, permanent disability, death, as well as hospital stay or treatment (treatment costs).

This group includes several types of insurance such as:

  1. Insurance against consequences of an accident

The insurance premium in this case depends on several factors:

  • Activities to be insured (e.g. insurance at work, sports, travel, etc.)
  • Selected perils or several of them that you want to insure against
  • Amounts of the insured sum
  • Duration of the insurance and other circumstances that affect the amount of the insurance premium.

  1. Accident insurance for family household members

A family household includes parents, their children and other members of the family household who live together. Family household members who temporarily stay somewhere else, outside of their city, for the purpose of education or employment, can also be insured.

A family household can be insured against the following consequences of an accident: death due to an accident, death due to illness, permanent disability (total or partial) and hospital days.

  1. Individual accident insurance

Individual accident insurance is intended to insure an individual against an accident while performing regular job assignments or in their free time.

This type of insurance can be concluded against the following risks: death of the insured caused by an accident, permanent disability or permanent (total or partial) loss of working ability.

  1. Collective employee accident insurance

Collective insurance against consequences of accidents involving employees at work, during and outside of working hours, is intended for the insurance of employees in companies, institutions or associations. All employees are insured with an insurance company for a fixed or indefinite period. Collective insurance of employees can be concluded against: death of the insured due to an accident or due to illness, permanent disability or total/partial loss of general working ability, daily compensation (temporary disability due to an accident, treatment expenses and hospital days).

  1. Other insurances against consequences of an accident

In addition to the already mentioned types of accident insurance, it is possible to contract insurance for pensioners, athletes, children and youth, as well as mandatory insurance for passengers in transport, etc.
