NON-LIFE INSURANCE
With the purchased insurance policy, i.e. upon the payment of insurance premium, the insurance company, i.e. the insurer, assumes the unwanted event risk, so the policyholder receives protection from the insured events, receiving the agreed sum insured in the event of the same occurring.
The amount of the premium and the sum insured is determined by the insurance company in accordance with their individual tariffs, and depending on a number of factors including: the value of the property, the business that a certain legal/natural person is engaged in, the number of employees, the value and age of the car (if you are insuring a car), certain age of the person in life insurance and many other factors.
As there are various types of non-life insurance, the amount of the premium and the sum insured also depends on the type of insurance purchased.
